My first record purchase was Tomita's "Pictures at an Exhibition." From then on, I knew I needed synthesizers—real hardware with lots of knobs and cables. A passion that continues unabated to this day. As a visual artist, I combine my passion for music, for example, in interactive sound installations where the audience becomes the conductor. Guided, controlled chance often plays a role in these installations, so that the final sound results hold new surprises for me, too. I generally make music without a computer, as the feel of real knobs and keys is important to me, and I don't want to get lost in a sea of unlimited possibilities.
My entire life, I've only been interested in music and, accordingly, I've made music from morning to night. Whenever I didn't have an instrument at hand, I thought about music. This routine allows me to express my feelings and ideas directly and spontaneously on my instrument. Klärwerk gives me the opportunity to introduce this art to an audience. I love playing in bands where "ideas" and "inspiration" take priority. No matter the musical genre. I also play with Fehlfarben, Therapie DeLuxe, Cryssis, Roter Kreis, Skuyela, Tozzkat, Wilder Weizen, Pandora, The Beatlesøns
